F Style Cans

F-style cans (also known as F-type square cans, rectangular cans, or oblong cans) are industrial-grade standard metal packaging containers, available in a variety of sizes and specifications. F-Style Cans are made of tinplate (plated iron) in a single piece, featuring a rectangular body and a single-sided screw cap. The outer layer supports custom printing, and the inner layer undergoes a waterproof and rust-proof coating, providing excellent sealing performance and durability. Suitable for long-term storage of liquid products, they are widely used in export and industrial packaging for liquid products such as lubricants, chemical solvents, coatings, and adhesives.

① If there is stock tin cans, samples are free, customers only need to pay the shipping fee. We will ship them out in 3 days.

② If you wanna the cans with your LOGO, customer needs to pay the film printing plate fee and proofing fee.

③ The lead time for mold/color printing proofing is about 30 days.

1. Can body:

- Material: mostly tinplate or tinplate.

- Coating: optional inner coating or Clear Lacquer

2. Upper cover and lower bottom: the same raw material SPTE as the can body. DS Packaging generally uses tinplate that is slightly thicker than the can body. Actual production has proved that such a crimping combination will be more solid.

3. Liner/sealing gasket of the lid:

- Material: commonly used PE/PET composite gasket, can also be non-woven gasket, paper gasket with a waterproof film, if the customer has a need, can also customize the most expensive silicone gasket with the best sealing degree.

- Function: provide elastic sealing between the lid and the can mouth to ensure sealing.

4. Handle:

- Material: DS Packaging usually provides two materials: plastic or tinplate. Among them, there are 3 commonly used tinplate metal handles, including European high handles, Japanese wide handles, and iron wire foldable handles.

- Surface treatment: coating (such as epoxy) or laminating may be added to improve corrosion and rust resistance.

1. Epoxy Phenolic: Most commonly used, with excellent comprehensive performance, good solvent resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for most oil-based paints, solvents, and chemicals. DS Packaging's conventional phenolic epoxy resin is coated with yellow or transparent colors.

2. PE Laminating: Physical lamination, good stability, high cost performance

3. Food Grade Epoxy Phenolic: Used for food contact or drinking water related products

- Coating thickness: Single-sided dry film thickness is usually between 6 and 12 microns.

- Internal coating function: Protect the contents from metal contamination, prevent the contents from corroding the can body, and ensure the stability of the contents.

DS Packaging can customize the structure. For example, the Metal F-style Can has multiple handles to choose from. The high and wide handles make it easy to lift the entire can with one hand. Different lids (such as tinplate threaded lids, plastic pull-up lids, Japanese oil finger-pressed lids, etc.) can be matched to facilitate the pouring and filling of liquids with different characteristics. It is also possible to add reinforcement ribs to the 20-liter Steel Pail to increase the load-bearing capacity of the barrel.
