The storage of 5 Gallon Tinplate Paint Pail needs to be combined with the material characteristics of tinplate and the chemical properties of paint to ensure that the environment is dry, ventilated, and light-proof, and anti-rust, moisture-proof, and fire-proof measures should be taken. The following are specific storage methods:

1. Environmental selection: attention should be paid to the control of temperature and humidity, fire avoidance and fire prevention.
The storage environment should be kept dry, cool, well ventilated, and avoid high temperature and high humidity environments. The temperature should be controlled at 5℃-35℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 75% to prevent the paint from getting damp and agglomerating or the tinplate from rusting. Paint buckets should be kept away from direct sunlight to prevent ultraviolet rays from accelerating paint aging. The storage area needs to be equipped with fire extinguishers, fire sand and other fire-fighting equipment. Fireworks are strictly prohibited to ensure that safe passages are unobstructed.

2. Storage method: Different types of paints need to be stored separately to avoid mixing and causing chemical reactions. Empty buckets and full buckets are stored separately, and empty buckets need to be inverted to prevent residual paint from leaking. Close the lid immediately after use to ensure that the sealing ring is intact. If long-term storage is required, cover the bucket mouth with plastic film and then buckle the lid. When placing tinplate paint buckets, place the bucket lid upwards and flat on pallets or shelves to avoid stacking too high (generally ≤3 layers) to prevent extrusion and deformation. Of course, it is best to place the paint bucket on a wooden pall
