I. Preparation Before Spraying
1. Surface Preparation
Clean the surface to be painted, removing grease, rust, and old paint layers. If necessary, sand the surface to improve adhesion.
Ensure the environment is clean and well-ventilated, with a recommended temperature of 15-25℃ and humidity of 40%-70%.
2. Spray Can Inspection
Shake the can thoroughly before use (approximately 1 minute) to ensure the paint is evenly mixed.
If the nozzle is clogged, clean it with a thinner.
II. Spraying Techniques
1. Distance and Angle
Hold the spray can perpendicular to the surface, maintaining a distance of 20-30 centimeters. Too close will cause drips, and too far will result in uneven paint coverage.
2. Spraying Method
Move the can at a constant speed and parallel to the surface, avoiding pauses. Use a "multiple thin coats" method, with a 5-10 minute interval between each coat.
For large areas, it is recommended to spray in overlapping sections to ensure even coverage.
III. Safety and Post-Spraying Procedures
1. Safety Precautions
Wear a mask, safety glasses, and gloves to avoid inhaling paint fumes or contact with skin.
Keep away from fire and operate in a well-ventilated area.
2. Spray Can Maintenance
After use, invert the spray can to expel residual gas and clean the nozzle.
Store in a cool place, avoiding high temperatures or direct sunlight.
IV. Troubleshooting Common Problems
Whitening of the paint surface: This may be due to high humidity; adjust the environment or use an anti-whitening agent.
Paint peeling: The surface was not thoroughly cleaned or sanded sufficiently; re-prepare the surface.
