1. Inverted Drainage Method
Place the oil can upside down to allow gravity to drain any remaining moisture, preventing bacterial growth.
The recommended tilt angle is ≥45°. Wipe the inside with a soft cloth to accelerate drainage.
2. Ventilated Drying
Select a well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight (such as a cool warehouse or ventilation rack) to prevent high temperatures from causing deformation of the plastic can.
In industrial settings, use explosion-proof fans to enhance air circulation and maintain humidity levels between 40% and 60%.
3. Auxiliary Moisture Absorption
Wrap the inside with clean paper towels or oil-absorbing paper to absorb any remaining moisture, then replace the can.
Add a food-grade desiccant (such as a silica gel bag) and let it sit for 24 hours.
4. Accelerated Drying Techniques
Plastic cans can be dried with a hair dryer on the cold setting. Metal cans can be dried briefly at a low temperature (≤50°C).
Avoid direct hot air to prevent plastic aging or metal oxidation. 5. Acceptance Criteria
The inner surface must be free of water droplets, no moisture marks when wiped with a white cloth, and a uniform water film when tested with a Dyne pen.
After sealing, shake the container and ensure no dripping sound. Allow the container to rest for 24 hours without condensation.
