I. Preliminary Classification and Verification: Each waste paint can is inspected individually, separating those with hazardous residues from completely clean empty cans. These cans are then clearly labeled, classified, and sealed for storage. Mixing is strictly prohibited.
II. Compliant Receiving and Transportation: Contact a qualified recycling unit. For bulk disposal, a hazardous waste declaration must be completed in advance. Collection is handled by a dedicated sealed vehicle, and handover documents and transfer slips are retained.
III. Resource Recovery:
Clean Empty Cans: After deep cleaning and passing inspection, they can be directly used as raw materials for recycled metal/plastic in smelting and granulation processes, or refurbished for reuse.
Cans with Residual Hazardous Waste: Harmful residues on the inner wall are removed using dry/wet cleaning processes, followed by crushing and sorting. The separated metal materials are recycled and smelted, while the remaining hazardous waste is sent to an incineration facility for harmless disposal.
IV. Closed-Loop Record Keeping: The entire process, including the quantity recycled and the disposal destination, is recorded. Relevant qualification documents and disposal vouchers are retained, and an environmental protection record is filed to ensure full traceability.
