I. Environmental Control
1. Humidity Management
The humidity of the construction environment should be controlled between 40%-70%. High humidity easily leads to paint whitening.
During the rainy season or humid weather, a dehumidifier can be used, or an infrared drying lamp can be used to assist drying.
2. Temperature Adjustment
The recommended temperature is 15-25℃, avoiding high temperatures (>35℃) or low temperatures (<5℃) during application.
II. Material and Operation Optimization
1. Thinner Selection
Use the matching thinner, avoiding inferior products containing water or with insufficient dissolving power.
In high humidity environments, add 5%-15% anti-whitening agent to improve the film formation effect.
2. Spraying Techniques
Maintain a distance of 20-30cm, spray evenly and thinly, with an interval of 5-10 minutes between each layer.
Avoid intermittent spraying or spraying from too far a distance, which can lead to uneven paint adhesion.
III. Emergency Treatment
Slight whitening: Wipe with 60℃ warm water or bake with a heating device to promote moisture evaporation.
Severe whitening: Sand and repaint, or remove the old paint layer before reapplication.
IV. Preventive Measures
Check the moisture content of the substrate before construction (wood should be <12%).
Compressed air must be filtered to remove moisture and prevent it from mixing with the paint.
