1. Cutting equipment
Shearing machine: used to cut the tin plate raw materials into suitable sizes to meet the basic size requirements of the can body. Common shearing machines include mechanical shearing machines and hydraulic shearing machines. Mechanical shearing machines have a simple structure and are easy to operate, suitable for thin plate cutting; hydraulic shearing machines have a large shearing force and can handle thicker tin plates, and have a high shearing accuracy, which can reach about ±0.1mm.
2. Stamping equipment
Punch: Punch the tin plate through the mold to initially form the shape of the can body. The tonnage of the punch is selected according to factors such as the thickness of the tin plate and the size of the can body. Generally, the production of small Motor Oil Tin Cans may require a 25-100 ton punch, while large or thick-walled cans may require a larger tonnage punch. The working frequency of the punch is also different. High-speed punches can punch hundreds of times per minute, which can improve production efficiency.
Stretching machine: For cans with depth requirements, such as some specially designed Motor Oil Tin Cans, the stretching machine is used to further stretch the stamped tin plate into the required shape. The stretching force and stroke of the stretching machine are key parameters. The stretching force is generally determined according to the stretching depth of the can and the material of the tin plate, and the stroke must meet the requirements of the maximum stretching height of the can.
3. Can mouth processing equipment
Crimping machine: It is used to curl the opening of the can to form a shape suitable for sealing at the edge of the can mouth. Crimping machines are divided into manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic. The fully automatic crimping machine can accurately control the width, thickness and curvature of the crimping, and the accuracy of the crimping width can reach about ±0.1mm.
Thread processing machine (if necessary): When the can mouth is designed with a threaded structure, a thread processing machine such as a lathe or a special thread rolling machine is required. The lathe can accurately cut out threads that meet the requirements, and the thread rolling machine forms threads by rolling, which has high production efficiency, and the strength and precision of the threads can also meet the requirements.
4. Welding equipment
Soldering equipment: If the can body is welded by soldering process, electric soldering iron, soldering robot and other equipment are needed. Electric soldering iron is used for manual welding of some small parts or repair work, and its power is generally between 30-300W; soldering robot is used for large-scale, high-precision welding operations, which can ensure welding speed and quality, and the welding speed can reach tens of centimeters of weld length per minute.
Laser welding machine (optional): For some production scenarios with higher requirements for welding quality and speed, laser welding machine is an option. It uses a high-energy-density laser beam as a heat source for welding, with narrow welds, small heat-affected zones, and high welding strength, which can effectively avoid defects such as pores and cracks that may occur in traditional welding methods.
5. Surface treatment equipment
Polishing machine: used to polish the welded can body to improve the surface finish of the can body. Common polishing machines include mechanical polishing machines and chemical polishing equipment. The mechanical polishing machine grinds and polishes the surface of the tank body through a grinding wheel. Its rotation speed can be adjusted as needed, generally between 1000-3000 rpm; the chemical polishing equipment uses chemical solutions to corrode and polish the surface of the tank body. This method can handle tanks with complex shapes, but attention should be paid to the handling of chemical solutions and environmental protection issues.
Passivation equipment: If passivation treatment is performed, a passivation tank or a passivation production line is required. The passivation tank is used to soak the tank body to form a passivation film on the surface of the tank body. The passivation production line can realize automated passivation treatment, including a series of processes such as spraying, soaking, and cleaning of the passivation liquid, to improve production efficiency and passivation quality.
6. Sealing test equipment
Airtight test machine: used to perform sealing tests on Motor Oil Tin Cans. By filling the tank with a certain pressure of gas, the tank body is detected to see if there is any leakage. The pressure control accuracy of the airtight test machine is high, generally reaching ±0.01MPa, and it can accurately detect tiny leaks.
Vacuum testing equipment: The sealing performance is judged by evacuating the tank body into a vacuum state and observing whether the tank body is deformed or leaking. The vacuum degree of the vacuum testing equipment can reach below - 0.1MPa, and can be adjusted according to different test standards and tank requirements.
7. Printing equipment
Screen printing machine: If screen printing is used to print logos on the tank body, a screen printing machine is required. It transfers the ink through the mesh of the screen to the surface of the tank body through the extrusion of the scraper, which can achieve large-area, colorful printing effects, and is suitable for printing brand logos, patterns and other content.
Offset printing machine (optional): For some Motor Oil Tin Cans that require high-precision and multi-color printing, an offset printing machine is an option. The offset printing machine can achieve high-quality printing, high color reproduction, and a printing accuracy of about ±0.1mm. It is often used to print product descriptions, barcodes and other fine content.
